SIES GST offers a number of courses like Electronics & Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Printing & Packaging Technology and Mechanical Engineering.
The overall placements of SIES GST in the year 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016 was around 85%, 89%, 88% and 70% respectively. The overall average was around 2.5 lakhs-3 lakhs.

You can apply and intern as many times as you want but the placement office and professors help you in finding an internship during 3rd year which is a mandatory one. Microsoft and Google have Student Partner and Student Embassador programs.
These are the companies that are on campus for CS:
Amazon, ADP, CA, Commvault, Capital IQ, Cisco, Dell, D.E. Shaw, Deloitte, GE, Honeywell, Oracle, Microsoft, Google, Syntel etc. Amazon, Google and D.E. Shaw hire 1 or 2 people. The placements of VNIT CSE are the best, as compared to the other departments/branches. Many top companies, like Morgan Stanley, Amazon, etc. visit here every year. The packages are not that high, as compared to CSE of IITs or CSE of top NITs, but still better than that of some other NITs, and the private colleges. Youll definitely get a job, with a decent package, at a reputed company. Moreover, the NIT tag, as well as the reputed company tag, would further enhance your growth in the future.

This is the sector in which we leave many good colleges behind. The placements in our college have been good even during the worst of market times. Coming to average package and the highest one, the average package is around 3.5 Lacs and the highest package last year offered was 27 Lacs by Amazon. We have many companies visiting our campus from Wipro, Infosys, TCS, Deloitte, etc. The placements are better in CSE as compared to ECE.
