Hi,
NSIT vs DTU.
This is the dilemma that almost every engineering aspirant in Delhi faces and it's not easily resolvable. I am not the right person to tell which college is better for CSE but I can tell you the major points of CSE departments in both the colleges.
DTU has a world class state of art auditorium, air conditioned classrooms, wifi enabled campus and an enviable canteen that serves lip smacking dishes at throw away prices. NSIT, on the other hand, has a tiny auditorium within the administrative building which cannot even accommodate 400 students.
Labs are not well maintained in DTU. Where NSIT has equipped with good and upgraded computers hardware.
The environment in NSIT is still largely inclined towards academics. Here, teachers do teach and students do study. I am not saying that the students do not study at DTU but in general, DTU is more focused on extra - curricular.
Now talking about the placements in both the colleges.
DTU has 100% placement and so has NSIT. Why surveys keep DTU ahead in placements is because 100% placements in 15 branches is definitely a bigger deal than 100% placement in just 6 branches that NSIT offers.
NSITians from CSE grabbed a whopping 1.4 crore package from Fb.
DTUite on other hand grabbed a 1.27 crore package from Google.

Aerospace and automotive are two major manufacturing industries - also old industries born over a century ago; they have drastically evolved in the past 30 years in terms of product performance, leveraging high technologies and significantly reducing time-to-market. Both industries rely on rigorous quality requirements, advanced materials, electronics and embedded systems, mechanical components, engines, structures, (.) as well as robust New Product Introduction (NPI) and enabling Product Life-cycle Management (PLM).
Aerospace is a generic term that includes commercial aircraft, planes and helicopters, military and defence, ground equipment and space.
The aerospace industry has a strong certification and compliance requirement, with consequences on development cost and technology solutions. The automotive industry requires perhaps less formal processes, though there is a significant focus on compliance and regulations.
Overall both have a great scope in varied sector domains.

The college has a good placement record. 90%of the students are placed. All the IT companies Wipro, Accenture, CTS, etc. come every year of the campus. They provide a package around 2 to 3L per annum. Amazon, Flipkart, Dell offer around 6 to 8L per annum. The highest offer was 18L per annum by DE Shaw.
Many companies will come to our college for biomedical colleges starting from 3 lakhs per annum to 24 lakhs per annum. Not only in IT companies, our students will also get a place in many core companies.
Placements in PSG tech are very good, the campus is visited by variety of companies from MNC to local companies the college first brings the MNC companies like Goldman Sachs, Intel, Amazon, Microsoft, Ebay, etc. and the service based companies like Cognizant, TCS, Wipro, etc, and the local companies will be given a chance to recruit our students for those who wish to work in the home town. During our final year around 700 got placed in cognizant, 60 in IBM, 28 Wipro, 15 Intel, 10 Ebay, 8 Amazon. all these are approximate values.

Electrical engineering became known during the early 16th century. In the early 17th century, it became more popular with the notable contributions of George Ohm, Michael Faraday, and James Clark Maxwell.
It is concerned with the use of electricity to transmit energy. It can include the field of electronic engineering since it also uses power and motor control. It has many sub disciplines such as:
Power engineering which is concerned with the generation, transmission, and distribution of electricity.
Control engineering which is concerned with the modeling of dynamic systems and controllers.
Electronics engineering which is the design and testing of electronic circuits.
Microelectronics which is the fabrication of micro circuit components.
Signal processing which is the analysis and manipulation of signals.
Telecommunications engineering which is concerned with the transmission of information through certain channels.
Instrumentation engineering which is the design of devices that measure pressure, flow, and temperature.
Computer engineering which is the design of computers and computer systems.
Mechanical engineering, on the other hand, has these subdisciplines:
Mechanics, the study of forces and their effect on matter.
Kinematics, the study of the motion of objects and systems.
Mechatronics and Robotics, the design and creation of hybrid systems and robots.
Structural and Failure Analysis, the study of how and why objects fail.
Thermodynamics, the study of energy.
Technical drawing (Drafting) and CNC, the design and creation of products.
Nanotechnology, the creation of microscopic devices.
Mechanical engineering uses physics and science in analyzing, designing, manufacturing, and maintenance of mechanical devices and systems. Mechanical engineers use heat and mechanical power to produce machines and tools.
It developed during the Industrial Revolution of the 18th century and has then evolved into a much broader field as technology advances. It also works together with other engineering fields, particularly with electrical engineering.

Since you're looking for civil engineering, and placements are the priority, I'd suggest you to look for other colleges. As far as civil engineering is concerned, they are one of the least preferred departments when it comes to campus placements. This year, there are only two out of the fourteen companies which have come so far, which are asking for civil engineering students. Though their curriculum is easier than the other branches, the department of civil engineering lags behind in terms of placements, even when mass recruiters such as Tata Consultancy Services, Accenture and Wipro Technologies are concerned. Core companies do not come for recruitment here, and even Larsen Tourbo, a major construction firm, sends its IT division - L&T Infotech, for civil engineering students. Therefore, you can see that there are very few companies who come for recruiting civil engineering students, and the placement scenario here is good only for computer science, information science, electronics and communication engineering and telecommunication engineering. The Department bagged funds from the university to carry out several pilot projects.

Automobile Engineering is a branch of engineering which deals with designing, manufacturing and operating automobiles. It is a segment of vehicle engineering which deals with motorcycles, buses, trucks, etc. It includes mechanical, electrical, electronic, software and safety elements.
