If there is a slight chance of not going for Medical which is not a short term thing and it demands a lot of investment if time and money as well then See if your interest and strength is Maths and Non Medical subject than may lead to Engineering. It is to be remembered that for Mass Communication, Media and Journalism courses you need not worry of 12th Stream. Any Stream person can join Mass Communication Bachelor Degree. Choose a Stream that You can Afford, not just by Money but by Focus, Interest, Choice and Recourses.

When it comes about being worth, distance education has limitations because it is after all an option opted not by those who are all available to do the regular studies. The limitations are of Less Direct Contact and Less Practical Exposure of the filed. Still, many Institutions have come up with innovative Ideas and Tools to facilitate Better Distance Learning Experience. There are videos and simulation platforms as well where an learner has much to add to his learning. The courses you are mentioning and that too with a specialisation in Fashion Designing will certainly have that "limitations" factor in work. I shall not guarantee that each institution offering this course or just a Master Degree in Multimedia will be able to do Justice. If you have already been pursuing a Job in that field and need this degree either to safeguard the job or to add some more to your learning, go for it. If you are planning to make a Career by Entering the Multimedia and Fashion domain via a distance mode degree, I shall frankly suggest otherwise.

The major difference is, a textile designer creates the pattern, designs for fabric and also develops fabric. The textile designers also do embellishment of fabrics. They have to select yarn, colour for the yarn, and dyes for making new fabrics. The Fashion designers, on the other hand, use the fabric developed by the textile designer to create new designs for clothes. Their imagination sees a design, they sketch it with colors on the paper and then give shape to their imagination by selecting fabric for the making new designed clothes. Both have a vast career scope. Now that you must have understood the difference between the two, you can take your call according to your area of interest.
