There is no grantee if one can be an actor via RJ stream but its a fact that there are few RJs in the Film industry who have become an actor. What is required in the glamour industry is that unless you make up good contact within the industry, chances of growth are really less. You can read or watch the interview of the famous personalities and their biographies. You will get to know the realities. All the best.

The major difference is, a textile designer creates the pattern, designs for fabric and also develops fabric. The textile designers also do embellishment of fabrics.
