Ideally, there should be no confusion at all. Because, after the completion of any course you should join a job to test 'How' you have learned that course. My advise will be to go for a job and then after for higher studies. (#) Doing a job will give you the more relevant knowledge of this field. (#) You can save a big chunk of money to cope up with the major and minor expenses of your studies. You have just studied the video editing, hence there are many possibilities that you are unaware of the real projects that a company faces.
