In order to enhance the existing career prospects, please go for short-term courses in order to get an edge over others. These courses are the simplest and the quickest way of learning specialized modules as per the needs of different individuals. They range from two weeks to a year or more, with flexible timing (morning & evening batches) and focus on entrepreneurship. These courses help in an understanding of building a brand identity and the basic collateral publicity material one needs to build and spread awareness of that brand. For graphics and animation design there are several courses such as 2D, 3D, 4D animation along with VFX

Don't worry about packages, you will get enough to drive a 3 series, if you are really good at it. But, design is more about passion, individuality, and joy of creation, if money is your biggest concern, don't come to this industry, you will be disappointed because there are people in NID who will work just for free food, if they get placed in Ferrari.
Designers are crazy people, money is not the first thing that excites us. Last year maximum placements were done by Samsung. However, the highest package went up to INR 72 lac per annum by a Ludhiana based company.
