Bachelor in Journalism and Mass Communication is the Foundation Degree in India because our Schools do not have this domain as a Specialisation. Media Studies or some other related subject is just part of the curriculum of Humanities and Arts in Senior Secondary and doesn't have major role. Hence, B.A. Remains a less preferred degree for getting a job quickly. Having said this, I must clarify that B.A. Mass Communication is a good option to make a career in Media. This is the best combination that nowadays are in very demands. If you are pursuing B.Arch it means that now you are expert in designing. Editing and Proof Reading of Language Content is related to Office Communication and do have jobs with the Government. However, this must be noted and should be known before an answer is supplied to this question, whether one is doing a Degree in the subject or merely a Diploma. Looking at the past results, no student has been given placement from the college during their final year in M.Des but they have certainly got Pre-Placement offers from the places they went for internship. The value of course done from here is impeccable which makes a student eligible to get excellent jobs in companies with their portfolio.

In our industry, experience is more valuable than a Masters degree. So, it's better to join somewhere and earn money with experience rather than again paying fee for a degree. Higher studies is good only if you are looking for government jobs or want to pursue your career in teaching.
