You will become eligible to pursue your Ph.D after completing your postgraduate degree and having some relevant experience in the concerned field. There are some good institutes which demand a minimum 3-4 years of work experience to be eligible for Ph.D. They follow the steps like:-

It will not directly impact on your MBA Admission as it is not the same college from where you are going to pursue your MBA degree, but yes of course, it will have a different impact like the knowledge you require from BBA graduate to pursue MBA degree will be missing if you fail to choose a good college, but if you choose a good college, you would have an advantage and this will definitely help you during your GDPI process and your placement program. Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is a national-level management entrance examination conducted by the All India Management Association (AIMA) and the scores are used for admission to various MBA, PGDM and other related programs.
MAT is held four times in a year.

I think that is not a parameter based on which you should select a college. If you use this parameter you will miss some of the best colleges. For example if you use the same parameter for MBA colleges you will eliminate IIM, Ahmadabad as it is extremely hectic but it won't be the right thing to do. Having a hectic college will prepare you for your future life. So consider every college and don't eliminate anyone just because it may be hectic.

While both are reputed colleges in Mumbai, SPJIMR is far ahead of KJSIMR and has a reputation level around the world for its courses. SJPIMR comes in top 20 colleges for pursuing MBA program, while KJSIMSR comes in top 50 colleges.
