Birla Institute of Management Technology (BIMTECH), Noida and XIME, Bangalore are equally good institutes. BIMTECH is better ranked than XIME. Some of the important points while selecting an institute are accreditation of the institute, institute's infrastructure, teaching faculty, specialization offered, past placements records, tuition fees, city preference, and industry interface. As both, the institutes are having the campus in different cities Bangalore and Delhi, industry exposure is good for students in either of the college. If possible a visit to college is better option to get a reality check. Also, get in touch with college

Hi,
During normal placement process, the usual structure followed is this.
1. Applying for the company/ expressing your interest.
2. Shortlisting of few candidates by the company
3. Group discussion/ Case discussion of shortlisted candidates
4. Shortlisting of fewer candidates from Step 3
5. Personal Interview
When a person gets PPI (Pre-placement Interview) he/she is fast-tracked to the stage 5 (interview) eliminating all the other stages.
And when a person gets PPO (Pre-Placement Offer) he is directly given a placement offer.
PPI/PPOs are generally given to the candidates whom companies have had a chance to examine through the means of summer

Algappa University's placements are on the lower side but ROI is very good. Abroad placements are very less.
The various specialized distance learning courses that are on offer in India can thus help working professionals climb up the corporate ladder. An added degree, certification, skill can reflect well on your resume and distance education is one of the most convenient ways to achieve that. With most universities in India offering distance and online degrees, certificates, diplomas - employment opportunities and professional growth after distance education are a definite possibility. Distance education candidates are indeed working

As per my experience I don't think that an year gap affects for CAT preparation adversely affects your chances of getting admission in any institute in IIMs or any other institute of India. The entire interview process is meant to gauge the students on their knowledge, skills and attitudes as well as their inclination of doing a MBA program.
If you are dropping out of your current job for one year there should be a justification as to what were the reason for opting out of your job. There are various examples of students who have scored a hundred percentile while working and thus the interviewers always discuss the reasons for dropping

Going for a private job or a government job totally depends on the individual and his/her preference. But we can see that most of the graduates of Tier-1 colleges prefer private jobs after their MBA. There are reasons for this.
Many people complained about the lazy work environment in government offices. According to them only a handful of people work diligently and complete their task within the scheduled time. You work hard; you expect appraisals for your hard work. It is a universal truth both in private and government sector. However, critiques said that in a government office, people who are working hard may often go unnoticed.

Students, past and present, are what any institute is all about. Faculty and staff are essential as well, but students are different in that they will forever fill a role whether they are present students or long graduated alumni. They create the university's status, which relies in large part on how successful alumni are in the real world. New graduates will have better job prospects because they went to a well-known school, and the process will continue. This is the basic benefit the newcomers and the college get. Also, such alumni communities donate willingly to their alma mater. Be it anything books, money or just precious knowledg

Hi,
As per my knowledge placement opportunities in Loyola College is good. As they provide the package of around 3 lacs min to 7 lacs max with average salary of around 4 lacs. The colleges provide you with top 3 big firms i.e. E&Y, KPMG, Delloite and many other companies like Cognizant, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, RBS, Citi Bank, etc. and the candidate who participate in this campus placement placed in one of this companies. So if you are hoping up for doing your BBA from this college it is the good decision you can take up off. Many companies which visit to this campus are from South India. The job opportunities that a distance education from an open university like IGNOU offer might not be comparable in front of the packages offered to IIM graduates. Especially if we look at opportunities overseas, we will find very few of those in distance learning programmes. But if we take a comparative look at the ROI, distance learning degrees don't fare that bad either. If we take into consideration the affordable and cost-effective distance learning programmes offered by open universities like IGNOU or Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Open University, then the placements offered by them are actually good returns on the investment we put in. The
