None of the exams are easy to crack. In CLAT you need under 200 rank to get to the top 3 NLU's. In other exams also, you need a better rank to get qualified. So, all are not that easy to crack. If you prepare seriously, you can qualify the desired exam. The basic difference in AILET and CLAT is that in the legal portion in CLAT one has not to think other than the principal whereas in AILET one has to apply his own mind too. A year a more than enough for passing MAH CET exam as there is no negative marking so the target should be among the top 5-10 students if you are preparing for a year so that you get into the top colleges in Maharashtra which is JBIMS which will ultimately get you placed for a good package at a lower fee and also help in building career in the desired field.

Major difference between CAT and CMAT is of General Knowledge questions, CAT question paper does not include GK questions, on the other hand, CMAT has questions regarding GK, so you need to prepare for that additionally if appearing for CMAT for which you have to read daily newspaper and you can also refer Lucents general knowledge book. Other than that everything remains same and yes CMAT exam is quite easy then CAT paper, so you need not worry much regarding other things, if you are preparing hard for CAT you are definitely going to crack CMAT with a little preparation of GK, with a good score.
