The students who are admitted from DCET are admitted directly to third semester as lateral entry students from third semester on wards their subject syllabus will be same as those regular students who are admitted to first semester from CET examination. The examination norms of university which are applicable to regular students are also applicable to Diploma based lateral entry students. Only additional mathematics subject called dip. These two are like inseparable twins. Since time immemorial, interviews are conducted to select suitable candidates for the job. Now interview is a generic word. It means different things to different people and also across organisations. Higher management jobs always involve and perhaps will continue to have interviews by a panel of experts or search committees. This perhaps is inevitable since many traits of the probable inductee could be known/ inferred/ found out only during one on one interactions. Similar is the case with interviews in hotel jobs. You are preparing for common entrance test, BVP CET known as Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University Common Entrance Test.
