First is B.Des i.e., Bachelor of Designing which most of the design students wish to pursue. It is a 4-year course under the branch you choose which can be apparel, footwear, accessories, automobile, furniture, interior designing, etc.

Jobs offered by the Ministry of Textile include lab based jobs, production based jobs, quality control jobs, marketing and merchandising jobs etc.
Besides Ministry of Textile, State wise Textile Corporations are also known to recruit textile engineering graduates to fill up the above mentioned job posts (based on vacancy). To land Government sector job, one must crack the relevant selection examination (UPSC or State-wise PSC exams).

Going for the higher studies or getting a job after completing Bachelors in visual arts is totally up to you. If you want to do a government job or you are very keen to study further then you should go for higher studies. Otherwise, if you want to do private jobs only, then it's better you start early because in the industry, experience is always more valuable than a Master's degree. So, why to pay fee for another two years. It's better you earn money and add up to your experience because what you learn in the industry is totally different than what you learn in the college.
