There are several options you can pursue parallel to your Bachelors degree in fashion design. I am listing them–
1. Communication skills
2. Foreign languages courses (like - French, Italian, German and Spanish).
3. Graphic designing or software
4. Styling course
5. Photography course
That is all up to you, what you are interested in. However, I would personally suggest you to not go for any other courses simultaneously, because fashion designing is very versatile course, and there are few short-term subjects in the fashion designing course itself, where you will learn about all of these software and styling kind of stuff. I would personally not recommend pursuing Bachelor of Visual Arts in Applied Arts and Graphic Design from distance learning in India if you do not get any classes to do practicals. Graphic designing is all about practicals and industry awareness. You may surely pursue this course via distance mode if you are already practicing the same on the job. I would suggest you do "On the job" training if possible, and pursue the course simultaneously. Once you complete the course, you may join as the below-mentioned options:
- Advertising art director. - Animator. - Creative director. - Graphic designer. - Illustrator. - Printmaker. - Product

You may pursue a graphic designing for a short term as well, along with animation depending on your choice to have an edge over others. A course in multimedia will offer you an ocean of job opportunities in web designing, computer games designing, advertising graphics, animation and new media.
