Every exam is as difficult or easy as the preparation of the candidate appearing for it. There are some subjects that are common to all entrance exams - legal aptitude, general awareness, English comprehension, numerical ability, etc. - for which preparation has to be done thoroughly irrespective of the exam that the candidate wishes to undertake. That being said, law entrance exams should not be taken lightly as there are Lacs of students competing for meager thousands of coveted seats.

During your time at law school, make sure you option for the subject of Cyber Law as you elective to get a theoretical understanding of what the subject is all about and what all it will encompass. Try and choose internships and apprenticeships under lawyers practicing Cyber law to build a good CV and also to gain a practical knowledge of the field that you are interested in. During your time at law school, make sure you choose Intellectual Property Laws as your elective as that knowledge will form the basis of Intellectual Property Law and also give you a theoretical understanding of what the field is all about and what all it will encompass. It is one of the most famous law colleges in the Delhi-NCR region. It is also among the first few preferences of students who look for colleges other than NLUs. The placements from this college are good. Although they may not be as good as top National Law Universities but students do intern and get offers from several law firms and top corporates. Charan Singh University as it is one of the colleges (in)famous for letting students pursue law long distance. Hence, the first assumption that one makes when the student is from CCS is that they have just managed to get a degree in law without really attending classes which also, by the way, is against the BCI guidelines. Safe to say, this assumption does not open many gates for students of CCS and they may have to struggle initially before finding their ground in the legal field.

Placement Cell is an active training and placement cell which is working a lot on inviting leading law firms into the college for delivering lectures and conduct placement talks with the students. The students regularly intern with law firms and in-house companies. Exceptional students get the job by interning through contacts but most of the people prefer litigation while some remain unemployed. Punjab is among the best law universities after NLUs. They are providing really good placements opportunities for their students and many firms and companies like Trident India (9 lacs+), Wipro (8 lacs+), Pengea 3 ( 5lacs+), OSC Knowledge Center, HDFC Ergo, Legacy Law Mind Merchant, Quislex are coming which are offering average 6 lacs package to the students. The placement cell is really active and it placed 38 out of 40 students of 2014 batch which is 95% of those students who applied for the placements.
