Indraprastha University however is a good university in Delhi NCR and some of its colleges are quite good for LLB.
Amity (IP) is one amongst the most preferred by students after NLUs, due to its proximity in terms of Delhi region and you get a lot of exposure. The infrastructure is good and you have a very well developing Moot Court Culture there, which is very much required for a budding lawyer. Also, the faculty and library is good and above all, the Delhi region in itself gives a lot of opportunities for growth of students.
VIPS is another such college that has seen preference by students and the students do boast of the infrastructure and the academics.
However, placements are not as impressive as in Amity IP.
Also, university law center of Guru Gobind Singh, IP University is also a preference by students lately owing to the professional attitude, and also the quality of faculty and the trust in University.
Overall these three colleges are much preferred by students when it comes to IP University.

Well VIPS is comparatively new institution, but it is doing well and is improving.
However, you can't expect much as of now, as not many firms visit the campus and it is mostly the tier 3 or newer law firms with not very good package. Also, there is no average package as such, as I mentioned it is a comparatively new institute and firms visit the institutes based on their batches.
The students however may opt for CLAT PG and get a job in PSUs like ONGC IOCl GAIL etc., which depends on their ranks mostly.
Also, other opportunities that a law graduate has are available to the graduate form VIPS.
Though not much opportunities are available as of now in campus, but yes with time there would be an improvement in the placement structure
However, students have options of Judiciary UPSC and IBPS exams available to them at every time. Also, a law graduate is much eligible to have his own practice as well.

The exam syllabus for IPU CET LLB consists of General Knowledge, Basic mathematics, English, logical reasoning and legal aptitude.
For English you may prefer wren &Martin high school grammar and for vocabulary, and passages you may opt for Word power made easy by Norman Lewis.
For mathematics, you may prefer RS Agarwal class 10th arithmetic, and basic algebra and mensuration.
For General knowledge, you may opt for Lucent's General knowledge covering static GK and any other year book such as Manorama, Pratiyogita darpan for current affairs.
For reasoning, you may again opt, R.S Agarwal book.
For legal aptitude, kindly purchase any online material by Career launcher.
Kindly go through previous year papers and mock tests.

However, LLM in itself is a course that is sufficient and is enough to take you places. Also, you do not get to have many options available while you are already pursuing a full time regular PG course.
Though you have one option that I would advise would add up to your accolades i.e. Company secretary (CS)
This is one of the parallel courses that could be easily taken up and also does not require much of commerce background.
CA would not be possible, as it involves tough subjects and also needs mandatory training which would burdensome your daily life and it would get hectic when your academics is concerned.
Thus, CS is quite possible while carrying on PG i.e. LLM .The CS course structure is quite relaxing and easy to go.
Moreover, you would have an additional plus point in your CV and this combination is preferred by many law firms and also corporate houses as you shall be deemed to have better knowledge of Corporate structure and you shall be preferred there upon.
Also, other certificate courses could be taken up as many institutes hold certificate courses in various laws.
Also, you may opt any Diplomas, including online Diplomas.

Well, that could be good as much as a saying is for in real this can't be the case. There is common saying about lawyers that good liars make good lawyers. By being a liar you basically end up doing a professional misconduct and that is not ethical even. You may take up a case who is believed to be an offender, but as a general rule no one is guilty until proven. Thus, there is nothing as such and one should not have this ideology while opting law as a career.
A good lawyer need to be witty and must have tact, but lying is not something that falls within the ethics of a lawyer or the profession.
Moreover, you might be presumed to be lying but as far as you prove anything with the evidences you can't be deemed a liar.
Please get rid of this and make sure that not every liar makes good lawyer, rather a person having good knowledge of subject makes him a good lawyer.

If you are looking for any University Grant Commission approved university, then it is difficult for you get chance with less than 45% marks. As the University Grant Commission has laid down the guidelines for taking admission in a LLB course. But, you can opt for a distance education degree where there is some relaxation. If you belong from any reserved category, then I would like to suggest you to check the criteria of the concerned institution. Because, there is some relaxation for the reserved candidates.
Also, for LLM, less than 45% of marks in graduation is not adequate enough unless you belong from a specialized reserved candidates. You might get admission in any Private Law Colleges. But, if it comes under the scanner of Bar Council of India, then your admission can be declared as null and void.

AIBE is an open book examination conducted by the BCI and is not that difficult examination, as it is a MCQ based. Wherein having basic knowledge about law and basic concepts cleared shall be very helpful.
The exam being MCQ based, there is no need of learning things. Only having a thorough knowledge would help. The subject list is posted on the AIBE website and also subject wise distribution of marks is mentioned, which proves very helpful to study.
Sections, articles, case laws and illustrations mentioned below the sections should be read carefully as we often do not concentrate much on the illustrations part.
Constitutional Law and Criminal Laws should be read carefully along with all the landmark judgements. Also, some of the most used legal terms and definitions that are most commonly used shall also be remembered.
Also, practice solving previous year question papers, which will be of more use. This much preparation will be enough as the exam is not that difficult. And the last part that you should keep in mind is that the time limit. As it is an open book exam, a lot of time is lost while searching for answers in Bare Acts. So, it should be kept in mind that time should be properly managed.

This is a very interesting question to answer. As per the guidelines of the University Grant Commission i.e. UGC, there are two different course of study. One is regular course and another is distance course. If you are planning to pursue both M.Com and LLB together in a regular course, then you are not permitted to do such. Because, UGC does not permit two regular courses simultaneously. At a point of time, UGC wanted to approve the scheme of two regular courses at the same time. For this purpose, they have consulted with many academicians, but the result was not positive as they did not receive any positive response so far from those academicians. But, if anyone wants to pursue both the courses at the same time, then he or she can opt one degree in a distance course and that is permitted by the UGC.

After a law course from an NLU such as NUALS-Kochi, you have ample placement opportunities.
The NLU itself calls number of law firms in campus and after an interview and selection process based on your CV, jobs are offered to top ranks holders.
Also, various legal associates and lawyers offer jobs at their offices to law students there.
You may also get clerkships from supreme courts after college as well.
Various corporate offices do offer jobs as legal officer and consultants for their legal teams.
You may also opt for PSU through CLAT PG after LLB, and earn a handsome salary and government employee status.
You also have an option to go for your independent practice or under a senior.
Again, you may opt for judiciary and UPSC examination as well.
In house teaching and research jobs are also offered, provided you go for LLM there.
Thus, a lot of opportunities are available for students.
