Biyani Group of Colleges offer placements through their dedicated placement cell. The Link http://www.placementsbiyani.com/ shares details of their efforts as well as a List of Employers visiting them. This list does not have Media Houses and That is why I shall not able to pronounce upon a judgement on the status of real placements. The observation from the filed and media houses is that the placements need improvements. Being a regional group of institutions, there are certain limitations, BUT for a good student there is no limitation and jobs shall come their way as college shall certainly approach the employers for media profiles.

Bhagwant University offers a degree in Mass Communication and Journalism aim at getting the students placed as professionals in the media industry. There are various profiles for which the media houses approach college and the college itself also gets them for campus placements.
The university might have a good reputation for placements for professional, especially Engineering courses. BUT the Placements of MEDIA Courses are not at all good.
This is submitted as an observation that being a regional part university, the limitations on real Skills and exposure of Mass Media are there. That limits the placements of Mass Media.

The question does not share any information whether the course is a Diploma-Degree-PG or merely an add-on course as MOOC or training. Still, the answer is here based on general perceptions and replying considering the course as Graduation at least.
Government Job Opportunities for a course in Film, Television and 'New Media Production are good.
It is good that the question mentions NEW MEDIA because the largest number of jobs in the Media domain is on the 'INTERNET and WEB' based platforms. When we say NEW MEDIA, we acknowledge that there are fewer Jobs in the traditional media profiles.

Direction - Films, Movies, Short Films, TV Serials, Features, Advertisement/TV Commercials etc. is a profile with the Public Relation, Doordarshan/Prasar Bharti divisions of the government. There is a possibility to get employed with the Universities and Film Production related government Institutions as well. Media Studies institutions managed by the government shall also offer jobs to Directors and Makers and Faculty.
Direction shall also be an eligibility to take Part Time or Project Based Jobs with the Government. Generally, LONG TERM Projects are also like Jobs when one gets employed in the government.
