The Link http://www.placementsbiyani.com/ shares details of their efforts as well as a List of Employers visiting them. This list does not have Media Houses and That is why I shall not able to pronounce upon a judgement on the status of real placements. The observation from the filed and media houses is that the placements need improvements. Being a regional group of institutions, there are certain limitations, BUT for a good student there is no limitation and jobs shall come their way as college shall certainly approach the employers for media profiles. Digital Marketing Expert, Public Relations Officer with Government as this is the qualification needed.
Corporate Communication Executive, Radio Jockey or Screen/Copy Writer, Event Manager

Bhagwant University offers a degree in Mass Communication and Journalism aim at getting the students placed as professionals in the media industry. There are various profiles for which the media houses approach college and the college itself also gets them for campus placements.
The university might have a good reputation for placements for professional, especially Engineering courses. BUT the Placements of MEDIA Courses are not at all good.
This is submitted as an observation that being a regional part university, the limitations on real Skills and exposure of Mass Media are there. That limits the placements of Mass Media.
The profile that is most suitable and is offered to the Master's degree holders are:
1. Journalist or Reporter with a Print Media-Newspaper or Managing
2. Electronic Media-News Reader, TV Reporter
3. Having Technical Skills then Editor
4. Editor of a Newspaper or Any other publication depending on the Language Skills of the Candidate.
5. Content Writer
6. Teaching/UGC NET Examination

An advanced certificate (Considering it as something done from a reputed place as well as after graduation).

An M.Sc in advertising management is a very popular-innovative as well as the less taken domain of studying mass media or mass communication. While doing the course, one learns how to see the need, plan, use the USP and create USP of the product in hand. The management of advertising of a particular product is to be done to see the impact. Along with this, the question demands response to career prospects for public relations. Public relations, on the other hand, has similar notions. The jobs that can be done abroad or in India after pursuing an M.Sc advertising management as well as a Public Relations Management degree are:

Direction shall also be an eligibility to take Part Time or Project Based Jobs with the Government. Generally, LONG TERM Projects are also like Jobs when one gets employed in the government.

To be more specific for your query, it is not worthy. If you are willing to make a career in acting and modeling through distance mode, I would like to say certain points:
(#) If you are very much aware of the current Bollywood conditions and trends, you don't need to be much qualified. On screen, what matters is your acting skills and how you present yourself. These qualities and skills cannot be generated from obtaining the certificates. These are generated through regular practice and on-stage demonstration. So, you don't have to go for any advance certificate in film and modeling course.
(#) If you think that getting the certificates is extremely important for you. Then you may. But don't go for distance learning mode. These are the certificates which give you quality, skills. And you can never master any skills while sitting at home. So do only through regular mode.
