Getting admission to IIPH Shillong is considered moderately difficult as the selection process is merit-based, requiring a good academic record, relevant work experience in the health sector, and a strong performance in the essay writing and GDPI rounds; while not highly competitive, it does involve a rigorous evaluation process to ensure suitable candidates are admitted.

If we compare William Carey University to other private universities of Shillong, such as Martin Luther Christian University, we can see that William Carey University offers more varied BA courses than Martin Luther Christian University.The tuition fees for William Carey University BA programme is also much lesser than the total tuition fees of Martin Luther Christian University. Thus, not only there are more seats in William Carey University for BA programme but it is also much more affordable if we compare it to other universities of the region.

There isn't much information about the rank of Indian Institute of Public Health Shillong IIPH for Masters of Public Health. However, the Institute has been ranked #2 in Shillong for pursuing the MPH Program.There is some information about the IIPHs - There are four IIPHs in India, located in Gandhinagar, Delhi, Bhubaneswar, Hyderabad, and Shillong. IIPH Gandhinagar is the only IIPH that is a university, having been granted that status in 2015. The other IIPHs are colleges.
