All candidates are advised to carefully check the SUNET eligibility criteria before commencing the registration process. Some of the basic SUNET eligibility criteria are:All candidates should be of Indian nationality.Should have passed 12th standard (or equivalent) examination with the minimum qualifying marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Candidates who have a valid JEE Main score will be exempted from the entrance exam.

SUNET 2024 seat allotment dates are yet to be announced. Candidates will be able to access the SUNET seat allotment result online. No other mode will be used to declare the seat allotment of SUNET 2024. Separate seat allotment results will be announced for different rounds. Candidates are advised to check the final date to confirm their SUNET seat allotment and accordingly follow the schedule.

After the SUNET seat allotment result has been announced, the candidates will have to confirm their admission before the final date. To confirm the admission, the candidates will have to report to the University, verify their documents and pay the fee. If the candidates are unable to confirm their admission before the final date, then their allotment will be cancelled. Therefore, the candidates are advised to confirm their admission as per the allotted schedule.

Yes. The authorities will consider JEE Main scores for admissions into the BTech courses offered by the University. If the candidate has a valid JEE Main score, then they will not be required to attempt and qualify SUNET. Only those candidates who have not qualified JEE Main can attempt SUNET and secure the scores required for admission.

No. The security fee that the candidates have to pay after SUNET admissions is a one-time payment. After paying it during the time of admission, the candidates will not be required to pay the security fee again. It is to be noted that the security fee is refundable and the candidates will be able to obtain it back after completing their studies. The refundable security fee that has to be paid by SUNET qualified candidates is INR 10,000.

Following the allotment, the candidates will have to pay the SUNET admission fee to confirm the admission. While reporting at the University to confirm their allotment, the candidates will have to pay the admission fee. The payment process should be completed before the final date, otherwise the authorities will cancel the allotment of the candidate.

SUNET seat allotment result will be declared online. To access the seat allotment result, the candidates will have to log in using the required credentials. The authorities will use no other mode to release the seat allotment of SUNET. Candidates will have to check their allotment status and the provided details to confirm their admission before the final date. Allotment of seats will be done based on the candidate's rank, preferences and seat availability.

SUNET counselling choice filling process has to be completed during the registration process. After completing the registration, the candidates will have to fill out the required details and proceed to the choice-filling process. The selection of courses has to be done in the order of preference. This is important since it will be taken into consideration during the allotment process. Candidates are advised to select as many choices as possible to raise their chances of admission as per their preference.

As per the previous years' trends, the candidates are not expected to release the SUNET cutoff online. However, the SUNET cutoff will be prepared by the authorities to select candidates for admission into the BTech courses offered by the University. SUNET cutoff will consist of the minimum scores that the candidates will have to secure for higher chances of admission. It is to be noted that meeting the cutoff will not guarantee admission, but provide higher chances, since other factors will also be considered for allotment.

No. Candidates will not be able to request for review of their SUNET scores. Since the authorities will prepare the SUNET result/scorecard after checking the submitted answers carefully, they will not accept any requests to review their allotted scores. In case of any other corrections, the candidates are advised to immediately contact the authorities.
