Since you are a Mechanical Engineering student, so both the courses of Quality Assurance and Quality Control and also advance designing will be useful. It depends on your interest in which field you want to make your career I.e. pure technical or managerial. Through advance designing course you will get a job related to designing and quality control is a wide field which deals quality control in production and continuous improvement in the process.

Hi,
You first need to complete the degree so it might take a year or two and then Masters is for 2 years more. While most of the courses abroad are credit based and duration can be shorter, it depends on you to study and work hard.

The minimum duration for degree in engineering in India or abroad is 4 years. You might find community colleges that provide diplomas so look for the course first, then country and their financial requirements to apply.
