Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara College of Engineering and Technology awards merit-based scholarships to outstanding students. Even though not a 100% scholarship, the college provides a different scheme: Top KCET rank holders-TOP 10 100% Tuition Fee waiver SC/ST students INR 20,000 per year Minority students INR 15,000 per year Economically backward students INR 10,000 per year More than 200 students are being provided scholarships every year to the tune of INR 1.5 crore.

Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara College of Engineering and Technology is also big in terms of the highest package, with more than 950+ placements and 300+ companies visiting the campus yearly. While the college does not specify which package is the highest, the institution has placed students into some of the best recruiters like TCS, Infosys and Wipro The placement statistics of the college are quite good: around 80 per cent of students got placed and an average salary package of around INR 5 Lacs per annum. Not a bad record from one that figures among India's top 50 private engineering colleges.

Admission to B.E./B.Tech course in Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara College of Engineering and Technology is primarily through KCET (45% seats) and COMEDK (30% seats), but 25% seats are on management quota. No bar exists on admission through management quota over KCET/COMEDK. The candidate must have 45% aggregate in 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology. Scores from JEE Main are also accepted. Application deadline: May-June every year. Total management quota seats: 210.

It is as follows: For the courses B.E./B.Tech, INR 60,000-80,000 per annum; M.Tech, INR 80,000-1,00,000 per year; MCA, 50,000-70,000 per annum; MBA, 60,000-80,000 per year. Admission charges: 5,000-10,000. Hostel charge is around INR 60,000-80,000 per year.
