SRCC GBO is specifically designed for admission to the Global Business Operations programme offered by Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University. It has its own entrance exam and admission process, which includes written tests, group discussions, and personal interviews. CAT, on the other hand, is a widely recognised entrance exam used for admission to various postgraduate management programmes, including MBA, in various Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) and other top B-schools. Hence, if a student wishes to take admission to the PGD programme in Global Business Operations at Shri Ram College of Commerce, then they need to appear for SRCC GBO exam and further clear the GD-PI process to secure a seat.

No, after the SRCC GBO exam is cleared, candidates will have to go through for further selection procedure conducted by SRCC, Delhi University. The SRCC GBO scores are accepted by the prestigious Shri Ram College of Commerce. Candidates need to meet the cutoff criteria of the participating institutes to take admissions. The admission process includes Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI). Other factors such as academic record, work experience, etc. are also considered for admission through SRCC GBO scores. SRCC GBO score is only the first parameter on which the candidates are shortlisted for admission. The SRCC GBO exam pattern is similar to the CAT exam pattern, but the SRCC GBO exam is slightly less difficult. The SRCC GBO exam has 160 multiple choice questions that must be answered in 120 minutes. The exam has four sections: Logical Ability, Data Interpretation, Quantitative Ability, and English Comprehension and Language Ability. Each correct answer is worth four marks, and each incorrect answer is worth -1 mark.The CAT exam has 66 questions that must be answered in 120 minutes. The exam has three sections: Verbal Ability (Language Proficiency) and Reading (VARC), Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR), and Quantitative ability (QA).Both the exams have multiple choice questions with four options given for each question. CAT is a longer exam compared to SRCC GBO. The marking scheme, including the weightage of questions and the scoring system, can differ between the two exams. CAT is primarily used for admissions to various postgraduate management programmes, including MBA, in various Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) and other top B-schools.
