Upon graduating with a BCA degree from Shri Ramswaroop Memorial University, graduates are eligible for employment not only in Information Technology but also in Software Development as Software Developer, System Analyst, Web Developer, Database Administrator, and Network Administrator, among others. A majority also get into technical support, data analysis, or cybersecurity. A fraction goes for further studies or additional certifications to promote their employability. The placement assistance provided by SRMU plays a role in linking companies to students, however, such opportunities are limited more to those who are academic giants.

Shri Ramswaroop Memorial University (SRMU) provides acceptable placement services for the students pursuing BCA courses. Companies like TATA, HCL, Infosys visit the campus. But some of the students seem to share the view that the placement ratio is almost 70%, most of the placements are not technical and the general experience seems to differ. The maxima salary handed out to BCA students can go up to almost ?4-5 LPA depending on the grades of the students.

In Lucknow, Shri Ramswaroop Memorial University (SRMU) is suitable for pursuing B.Tech in many courses with good infrastructure. However, the placement scenario is a bit of mixed bag where some students encourage good opportunities especially in computer related fields, while others find it difficult to get placed within the campus. Companies such as TATA, HCL, TCS, etc. come for placements with the highest packages bang on 48 LPA in some sectors. Though, the university may not do well when it comes to non-technical placements.

The candidates are eligible for admission to the B.Tech program at Shri Ramswaroop Memorial University if they have passed Class 12 or equivalent examination recognized by a State Government and/or Central Government. They should have done Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and any one subject from the following: Chemistry, Computer Science, or a Technical Vocational subject. Shri Ramswaroop Memorial University (SRMU) follows its courses from different disciplines but the B.Tech is one of the best contenders in terms of caliber and opportunities. Specializations in engineering under the university are as well acclaimed in job markets, and the MBA program is also highly acclaimed and boasts a huge number of recruiters and good placement packages. Other notable courses at SRMU would include M.Tech and B.Sc, which depends upon individual skills and goals pursued in one's career. Generally speaking though, B.Tech and MBA stand out as the best courses in the institution.

For persuing MCA(masters of computer application) SRMU costs upto 1.5 to 2 lakhs and the tution fee per year is 77000 with 9000 as examination fees.college provides students with training and internship for which they cost Rs. 5000.The other fee which includes library activities,sports, medical and co-curriculum is 9000. The refundable amount taken at the time of admission as the caution money is 5000.

Shri Ramswaroop Memorial University is considered a Tier 2 institute. However, it has a growing reputation in fields like engineering, management and law.Tier 2 universities like SRMU are regionally respected and provide good quality education, especially for students from nearby areas but they must not have the same national and international recognition as Tier 1 universities.
