As per the information available online, it is not possible to take direct admission in SRMU without appearing for the entrance exam. SRMU offers admission to the LLB course through its own entrance exam, the Shri Ramswaroop Memorial University Entrance Test (SRMUEET). The SRMUEET is a computer-based test that is held in multiple cities across India. The exam consists of two sections:
* **General Knowledge and Legal Aptitude:** This section tests the candidate's knowledge of general knowledge and legal aptitude concepts.

SRMU B.Tech fees range between INR 2.68 L - INR 7.1 Lacs. The duration of the course range from three to five years. Candidates who want B.Tech admissions also need to fulfill the eligibility criteria. The eligibility criteria for SRMU admissions is that candidate should have passed Class 12 with a minimum of 45-50 % aggregate. Additionally, the specialisations of B.Tech course include Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Data Science with IBM, Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, Artificial Intelligence with IBM, Cloud Computing, Internet of Things (IOT) with IBM, and Big Data Analytics with IBM.
