Recognised by the UGC and established in the year 1995, Sikkim Manipal University is a private university. It has an ‘A’ grade by the NAAC accreditation and has various other approvals from institutional bodies such as MCI, NCI, AICTE and a few more. It ranks 21 by the IIRF 2024 ranking in the category of ‘Private Universities Good for BTech/MTech Programs’. The University has a placement record of 2023 with a 100% placement rate for courses such as MD/MS.Assam Down Town University (ADTU), on the other hand, was established in the year 2010 and has a campus size of 80 acres. It is recognised by the UGC, AICTE, INC, PCI and IAP, offering 20+ courses in full-time and distance mode. It has top recruiters such as IBM, Deloitte, Accenture, Wipro, Infosys, Adani Group etc. The MBA placement for the year 2023 stood around INR 5 LPA simultaneously.

The Sikkim Professional University admission process requires candidates to submit a copy of official documents that are further used for verification.
