You need to be a Maharashtra domicile to get into MMS of any institute in Maharashtra. If you have a Maharashtra domicile certificate, you can easily get into Thakur. Also, your graduation percentage should be al least 50.

Hello Shanmukh, From the available sources in Sikkim and outside, the reputation is indeed good. Some even went on to claim that its better than original Manipal! It has very good state of the art facilities and faculty too is good. Yes, one can surely join this.

Ph.D. in direct after distance MBA is a very choice. Before getting admitted to any institution do some research on the affiliation part. UGC needs to recognize the distance course in order to be eligible for regular Ph.D.
