According to the information available on the internet if we compare Bodoland university & SMIT (Sikkim Manipal University) Sikkim.The SMIT (Sikkim Manipal University) is good for MBASMIT total fees is about 5.5 Lacs and the avaerage median salary is about 4.8 LPA it means you get good return on investment whereas the highest package is 42 LPA.Top recruiters are ACCENTURE | Amazon | CapGemini | Cognizant | Daikin | Dell | E&Y | GODREJ | IBM etc.s.Total seats intakes are 60.Admission based on the performance in the Management Aptitude Test (MAT)/ (CAT)/ University Entrance Test.

The average package details are not available on the official website of the University. However, the median package has been disclosed. During 2022 placements, the median package offered to UG (3-year) and PG (2-year) students was INR 5.40 LPA and INR 3 LPA, respectively. For PG (3-year) courses, the median package stood at INR 6 LPA. Looking at the past three years data (2020 to 2022), an improving trend was recorded in the median package of UG (3-year) courses and a fluctuating trend was observed in the median package of PG (2-year) and PG (3-year) courses. The Sikkim University MBA placement statistics are not out officially. However, the overall placement statistics for PG (2-year) courses have been released. The median package offered to PG (2-year) students during 2023 placements was INR 2.50 LPA. Further, 18 out of 600 PG (2-year) students were placed. Sikkim University the highest package has not been released as of now. However, the 2022 median package is disclosed in the NIRF report 2023. Sikkim University PG admissions are based on CUET PG scores followed by the counselling. For 2023, Sikkim University Counselling for CUET PG closed after Round 2 Seat Allotment. The closing ranks for top 5 PG courses stood at 127 for M.A. in International Relations, 155 for Master of Law (LL.M.), 179 for M.A. in English, 215 for M.A. in Psychology and 128 for M.A. in Political Science for General category All India Quota seats. Of all the PG courses, M.A. in Psychology, can be considered the most competitive of all because of the highest closing scores at 215.
