Hi Richi, There is no specific period as of now. Once you graduate, you can apply for jobs and the employer will apply for the work pass for you. You must get it done before the student pass expires. You can work part-time while studying and should start applying for jobs from the final year itself. The work permit duration will depend on your organization hiring you. For MBAs, check here:

I don't think GATE is required. Please check the university website and the respective program website for specific requirements:
