admissions to all engineering colleges in Maharashtra are not based on JEE Mains but are based on MHT CET only. Hence you have to apply through this entrance exam only.

Its may possible in case of Medical issues or may be transfer of family in another district.
In both case you may get transfer. for more you may visit at your university and meet to your registrar/ exam cell for the same.
