CBSE UGC NET/SET/JRF - Paper 1: Teaching and Research Aptitude Paperback. KVS Madaan. UGC NET/JRF/SLET General Paper-1Teaching & Research Aptitude Paperback. Arihant Experts. Would be good too. All the best for your future endeavors.

SET stands for State Eligibility Test. SET examination is conducted by UGC and UGC CSIR twice in a year. One is held in June and another is held in December.

To appear in NET/SET, you must either be in the final year of your post-graduation degree or must have qualified it already. So, you can appear in the exam when you'll be in the final year of M.Sc. Degree. As you belong to Science stream, I'd advise you to go for CSIR NET Exam https://www.eduncle.com/csir-net-exam because this exam is conducted only for Science students. Based on your M.Sc. Degree subject, you can choose the relevant subject in CSIR NET and appear for it. The online submission for June 2018 Exam has been ended and for now, you're not eligible as well. So, you can try in Dec 2018 session. Good Luck!
