With a KCET rank of 51,000, the possibility of entry into B.Tech at SJB Institute of Technology seems a little challenging. To give a perspective, the closing ranks for various engineering branches in 2023 varied considerably; for instance, the closing rank was 52,049 for Electrical and Electronics Engineering, but much lesser for more sought-after streams like Computer Science was 14,490. The cutoff strictly depends on the course and year that one is seeking admission into, and it may differ as per the institute's requirements and availability of seats.

SJB Institute of Technology (SJBIT) offers a decent MBA programme with experienced faculty and good infrastructure, but it may not be ranked among the top business schools in India. While the programme is gaining recognition and has growing placement support, other institutions in Bangalore, like IIMs and Christ University, may provide stronger reputations and better recruitment opportunities. SJBIT could be a good choice for those seeking an affordable and accessible MBA option.
