Multiple-choice questions are asked in the SLAT question papers. Candidates are required to answer these questions in a computer-based test mode (online). They will also be able to skip questions if they do not know their answers. However, it is recommended for all SLAT candidates to answer all questions because there is no negative marking scheme in the SLAT exam. The option of marking for review is also available for questions in the SLAT question paper. Candidates can answer these questions later before clicking on the submit or end exam button.

The structure of the SLAT question paper has been the same since 2020. It includes five sections, namely, Logical Reasoning, Legal Reasoning, Analytical Reasoning, General English, and General Knowledge. Each section contains 12 questions and each question carries one mark. Thus, the total number of questions in the SLAT question paper is 60. Candidates receive 60 minutes or 1 hour to answer all 60 questions using the best of their knowledge. The amount of time candidates need to devote to solving SLAT completely depends on them. However, they need to keep the time limit to solve the entire SLAT question paper in mind.

There is no fixed limit to how many hours you need to devote to SLAT preparation. This is because every person has a different learning pace. Some may have strong analytical backgrounds, and the analytical section may look like a cakewalk to them, but they may get stuck in comprehension. Therefore, you need to first understand your strengths and weaknesses to make a proper schedule. You should give more time to practicing and studying those topics that are unknown to you and less time to those that you know very well. On average, it takes 6 to 8 hours, depending on how many months are left for the exam. If SLAT is six months away, then

The SLAT syllabus is not available for download because the SET exam authority does not provide any details other than the exam sections related to the SLAT syllabus. Aspirants who want to appear in SLAT can refer to the syllabus of other law entrance exams similar to SLAT to get an idea of the topics associated with the SLAT syllabus. They can check the CLAT syllabus because the CLAT exam pattern is similar to the SLAT exam pattern. CLAT is tougher than SLAT. Thus, if SLAT applicants prepare according to the CLAT syllabus, they will be able to crack the SLAT exam.

The most difficult section of SLAT cannot be specified because the difficulty level of a subject or exam section is different for all candidates. For example, some candidates have expertise in Logical Reasoning and Analytical Reasoning. Thus, these two sections of the SLAT exam will be easier for them than other exam sections. It can be said that the difficulty level of a SLAT section for a candidate is based on his or her expertise in it. If we analyze the sectional difficulty for SLAT based on the patterns of question papers from previous years, General Knowledge is the most difficult section because questions in this section can be

Since the SLAT places a lot of emphasis on analytical skills, the questions tend to be drawn from subjects that call for in-depth study and practise. The Symbiosis Law Admission Test authority does not provide subtle details about the SLAT syllabus. Thus, the syllabus for SLAT cannot be specified accurately. The exam authority only shares the details associated with the sections related to the SLAT question paper, which are Analytical Reasoning, Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, General English, and General Knowledge. Thus, candidates only study to prepare for relevant sections along with mathematics (of level up to Class 10) and current affairs to prepare for SLAT.

For the past 2-3 years, the syllabus of SLAT has been the same. However, there is a guarantee that the SET exam authority will not make any changes to the SLAT syllabus in the future. All the important updates related to the SLAT exam are published on the official website of the Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET), set-test.org. Thus, if the exam authority changes the SLAT syllabus, candidates will be able to know about those changes by visiting the SET website. All the details related to SLAT in a particular year are published on this website at least 5-6 months prior to the commencement of the exam. Thus, if the exam authority makes some c
