The SLAT 2023 exam has been conducted. This year, two tests were conducted for SLAT 2023. The SLAT 2023 Test 1 was conducted on May 6, 2023. However, SLAT Test 2 was held on May 14, 2023. Both SLAT tests were conducted in a computer-based test mode at the test centres allotted to candidates. The SET exam authority does not conduct the SLAT exam in a computer-based proctored mode anymore. Here, computer-based proctored mode exam refers to the exam that is conducted online and can be taken by candidates from their home. Candidates were allowed to take both SLAT Test 1 and Test 2 in 2023. However, their percentile will be calculated on the basis on the exam in which they score higher.

By clicking on this tab, SET, SLAT or SITEEE aspirants can find important details related to these exams. The dates that will be mentioned on the "Important Dates" page of the exams will be dates for registration, payment, admit card release, test 1 and test 2 dates (exam dates), and the date of the announcement of results.

In case you forget your SLAT password and want to download your SLAT admit card, you can reset the password. To reset the SLAT password, click on the SLAT admit card download available on the home page of the SLAT website. Click on the "Forget Password? " option available next to the sign in button on the page. Enter your name, email address, and date of birth. Now, click on the "Submit" button. The option to reset your password will be available to you. Then, verify your email address, enter a new password, confirm this password by reentering it, and save it. Your SLAT password will be reset. Using your SLAT ID and the new password, you can download your SLAT admit card.

No, candidates cannot use the admit card of SLAT Test 1 to take SLAT Test 2. The Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) authority releases the different admit cards for SLAT Test 1 and SLAT Test 2. Candidates need to download their SLAT admit cards for Test 1 and Test 2 differently. Thus, they need to carry their respective SLAT Test 1 admit card on exam day 1 or Test day 1. Similarly, the SLAT Test 2 admit card needs to be carried on the SLAT test day 2. If a candidate appears in both SLAT Test 1 and SLAT Test 2, the exam or test in which or she secure more marks will be considered to calculate his or her SLAT exam percentile. For example, a candidate takes SLAT 2023 Test 1 and Test 2 and secures higher score in SLAT 2023 Test. In this scenario, his or her SLAT Test 2 marks in 2023 will be considered to calculate his or her SLAT 2023 percentile.

To get a printout of the SLAT admit card, candidates first have to download the admit card and save it to their devices. After saving the SLAT admit card on their devices, they can connect these devices to a printer and print coloured copies of the admit card. The printouts should be clear, so that all details mentioned on the admit card can be seen easily. Candidates with a blurred or unclear copy of their SLAT admit card will not be allowed to take the SLAT entrance exam. Moreover, only a coloured copy of the SLAT admit card will be accepted by the exam authority. The black and white prinout of the admit card is not accepted at the SLAT exam centres. All candidates who apply for SLAT and are going to take the exam must carry 3 or 4 copies of a colour printout of their SLAT admit card. This strategy will be helpful in the case, when candidates lose one of the copies of the respective admit card or the admit card gets destroyed for some reason. All copies of the SLAT admit card must have a passport size photograph pasted on them. Candidates should note that mobile phones are not permitted at the centres, and they should carry a hardcopy, I. e. a colour printout of the SLAT admit card on an A4 size sheet.

Candidates need to carry a valid photo ID proof to the exam centre along with a coloured printout of their SLAT admit card. This photo ID proof can be an Aadhaar Card, voter ID, PAN Card, driving licence, or passport. The reason for which the exam supervising authority asks candidates to carry their photo ID proof is that they want to ensure their identity. Aadhaar Card and Voter ID are the best photo ID proofs that can help Indian citizens verify their identity. Thus, it is advised to all SLAT exam takers that they must carry one of the two photo ID proofs to the SLAT exam centre. The photo ID proof should be original because photocopies or printouts of ID proofs are not accepted by the exam authority. The ID proof will only be used to recognise the candidates. It will not be submitted by the authority.

The SLAT exam day guidelines are available on the admit card of the SLAT exam. These guidelines or instructions are ascertained by the SET exam authority. As per the SLAT exam day instructions, candidates must bring a colour printout of their SLAT admit card along with a valid photo ID proof on the examination day. A black and white printout will not be accepted. They must paste their colour passport size photo on the admit card. The signature of the candidates on their respective admit cards is mandatory. All candidates are advised to report to the exam centre the latest by 7:30 AM and occupy their seats by 8:30 AM because the SLAT exam starts at 9:00 AM. A candidate must take the SLAT exam at the centre allotted to him or her. Taking tests from other test centres will not be allowed for him or her.

The SLAT admit card will carry details like the name and date of birth of the candidate, admission category, photograph and signature space, exam date, exam day instructions, test day slot and timings, and allotted test centre details. The main exam day guidelines will explain that candidates should bring a coloured printout of their SLAT admit card to the exam with their passport size photo affixed to it. The guidelines will also explain the reporting time when candidates need to reach the exam centre and the types of behaviour and objects that are prohibited at the exam centres. Cheating and talking to others are strictly prohibited during the SLAT exam. All types of electronic devices, including smartphones, smartwatches, and calculators, are not allowed to be carried to the exam centre.
