Yes, SLS PDEU conducts an entrance exam for admission to UG courses. The test include an aptitude test and creative writing. The duration of the written aptitude test of 50 marks for which time duration is 90 minutes. There are 100 questions in total. The written test is followed by Creative Essay Writing of 25 marks and 30 minutes duration. Aptitude has four sections, namely Verbal Abilities,  Quantitative Ability,  Logical Reasoning and General Knowledge.

SLS, Pandit Deendayal Energy University (PDEU) shortlists aspirants for UG courses based on aptitude test and creative writing test conducted by the school. Aspirants who have appeared for SAT can also apply. For PG programmes, the selection will be based on merit in the last qualifying exam. Selected candidates are further called for a personal interview round.
