Yes following all the other colleges, this too has reservations for various sections. Vidyavardhinis College of Engineering and Technology also provides five per cent relaxation in marks for the reserved categories.

Candidates willing to take admission to Assam University must appear in some entrance exams like CUET, JEE-Mains, CAT, WSAT, among others, and successful performance in these exams is essential for the candidate to secure admission. After having a valid scorecard/ rank allotted, interested candidates need to check for the merit list, which is released from the university side from their official website. Only those applicants will be eligible for further process of securing a seat in Assam University whose scorecard/ rank is as per the merit list of Assam University. The last step is submitting their documents and fee payment.

At the undergraduate level, the National Institute of Technology, Manipur offers BTech programmes to various students. The eligibility criteria to apply for the BTech programme is Class 12 with a minimum of 75 percent aggregate and the accepted entrance examination is JEE Main. It is difficult to predict beforehand based on past trends as the cut-off changes every year.
