The student needs to submit a notice of withdrawal from admission to the university. If notice of withdrawal of admission is submitted on or before October 31, 2023, the student will get a full refund. After that, up until December 31, refunds will be made after deducting INR 1,000.

As of my knowledge and findings there is no direct admissions or management seats at SMIT Sikkim. According to the official website of SMIT Sikkim, admission to most courses is based on the SMET exam scores, which is an entrance exam conducted by the university. The eligibility criteria for admission to BCA and BBA courses at SMIT Sikkim is passing 10+2 with 50% for general category and 45% for the reserved category.Admission to all the courses at SMIT Sikkim is merit-based or entrance exam score-based.The selection of candidates for MCA/M.Sc (IT) courses will be done on the basis of an entrance test conducted by SMIT.

SMIT is one of the best colleges and also have the best infrastructure, better than most of the college in Sikkim. It has a huge vicinity and an amazing sports facility. Excellent infrastructure, well-experienced faculty & one of the best learning environments in India. There are 95% placements for all those who wish to sit for it (despite there being many who quit the placement rounds at the last moment to opt for better opportunities [read: off campus]).
