To get admission into SMIT Sikkim, the minimum percentage required in class 12th is 40. So, yes you can join SMIT, Sikkim 70% in class 12th.For some UG courses admission is merit-based. However, some courses like B. Tech, BCA, MBA, etc. require an entrance exam score. The accepted exams are SMIT Online Test/JEE Main/MET/GATE/AIAPGET. The cut-off is released based on these exams only. Both institutions offer Bachelor of Science programs with different specializations. Bodoland University offers B.Sc. in specializations such as Biotechnology, Botany, Chemistry, Computer Science & Technology, Geography, Mathematical Science, Physics, and Zoology, while SMIT, Sikkim offers B.Sc. in specializations such as Computer Science, Chemistry (Hons.), Mathematics, Physics, Physical Education & Sports, Economics, and Clinical Psychology.The average package offered by Bodoland University was INR 4 LPA for BSc courses. On the other hand, the average package offered by SMIT Sikkim was INR 6 LPA for BSc courses.
