Yes, it is mandatory to fill the SNAP application form for admission to the MBA programmes of the SIU institute. There is a field in the SNAP application form where candidates have to mention their choice of SIU colleges and MBA courses they wish to pursue. They need to pay INR 1000 per college selection. There will be no institute specific application form released later. Candidates will have to use the SNAP application ID to fill the admission shortlist forms of the constituent institutes. If a candidate fails to mention a college in their SNAP application form, they will not be shortlisted for WAT-GE-PI of that SIU institute.

SNAP cut offs are determined by each SIU constituent institute independently on the basis of certain factors. The cut offs vary for every SNAP accepting institute. The SNAP cut offs also vary from one year to another. They may be higher or lower in the next year as compared to past year cut offs. The main criteria on the basis of which the SNAP cut offs are determined include the following:Number of candidates who appeared in the SNAP examDifficulty level of the SNAP examNumber of candidates who qualified the SNAP examPass percentage in the examHigh percentile range in the examNumber of seats available in the programmes

No, the SNAP application fee does not include the fee for SIU institutes that the candidate wishes to apply at. The SNAP application fee is INR 2,250, whereas for every SIU institute, candidates have to pay INR 1000. For example, if they select one institute in the SNAP application form, they have to pay INR 1000, if they select two institutes they have to pay INR 2000.If a candidate chooses to not select any institute in the application form, they don’t have to pay any amount other than INR 1,950. However, in that case, they will not be eligible for selection to the GE-WAT-PI round of the SIU institutes.

SNAP exam fee can be paid until the last date of the application form submission. If the fee is not paid on time the application form will not get submitted. Thus, the aspirant will not be eligible to appear in the exam. The best time to pay the fee is along with form filling. The process of SNAP form filling is such that, the fee payment is the second and mandatory step. Without paying the SNAP fee, you cannot access the application form. The fee for college selection is to be paid after form filling.

There is no form correction process in SNAP. Unlike in other MBA entrance exams, candidates do not get a chance to edit their application forms after submission. Once they have submitted the SNAP form, they cannot access it. Thus, it is important to fill the SNAP 2024 application form correctly with valid information. The most important thing to do is mention the test cities very carefully as once the test centre is allotted, it can't be changed. Similarly, candidates must fill the institute and course option carefully so that they are shortlisted for admission process to the institute of their choice only.
