Over the years, Symbiosis International (Deemed) University's management college affiliate SIBM Bangalore has continuously reported excellent gender diversity and successful placements. The obligatory exam, SNAP, has a significant weight in SIBM Bengaluru's MBA admissions procedure. Passing the Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) is a requirement for enrollment in Bangalore's Symbiosis Institute of Business Management (SIBM). For the purpose of determining eligibility for admission to the MBA programs offered by the Symbiosis Institute of Business Management Bangalore, prospective applicants are evaluated based on their SNAP Entrance Exam results.

The SNAP scorecard is available for download for about 1 year from the date of release. Test takers will be able to download their scorecards any number of times by using their login credentials. After one year, the link to download the SNAP scorecard will be deactivated. If a candidate will need to download the scorecard, then they will have to seek help from the SNAP Test authorities.SNAP scorecard is a mandatory document for admission to any college accepting the score. Thus, candidates must download their scorecards as soon as it is released and save a soft copy of the same in a folder or email for future reference. This way, they will not have to worry about misplacing it or the need to download it again.

If you forget your SNAP login credentials, then you can create a new password by using the ‘forgot password’ option available on the login page. You can simply click on ‘forgot password’ and follow the instructions displayed on scree to change the password to log in. To get a new password, you will need to remember the correct email ID or the mobile phone number through which you had registered earlier. If you don’t remember that too, then you will have to contact the exam authorities for help.It is better to note down the password somewhere so that you don’t forget it. SNAP login password is not only important for results but also for all other admission related activities such as filling the PI form, etc.

No, there will be no arrangement for depositing personal belongings such as bags and valuables at the SNAP exam centre. Candidates must not carry any bag or valuables on the exam day. Or they should be accompanied by a guardian/friend who can look after their belongings while they appear for the test.On the SNAP exam day, candidates are required to carry only two copies of their admit card, a photo ID proof, passport size photo and a blue/black ball point pen. They need not carry any other item as nothing apart from these items will be allowed inside the exam venue. Candidates must check the instructions related to this in the SNAP admit card for the latest guidelines.

Candidates must reach their SNAP test centre on time as no candidate will be permitted to enter the test venue under any circumstances after the exam has started. If they are late for a SNAP exam, they will have to take the test in their second or third attempt (if they have registered for it). Reporting time for SNAP exam will be printed on the candidate's admit card. Candidates must reach their respective SNAP exam centres as per the reporting time mentioned or at least one hour before the commencement of exam. The entry gates will be closed 15 minutes before the exam and after that no one will be allowed to enter the venue under any circumstances. 

An applicant can select up to three cities for allotment of test centre in the SNAP application form. The exam authorities will allot the exam centre to candidates in their preferred city. In case, seats are not available in the first preferred city, it will be notified in the form and candidates can select another city. Candidates must select their home city or city of current residence as first preference.SNAP is conducted in about 84 cities across India. The latest list of SNAP cities has been released along with the SNAP registration form. Every city will have at least one SNAP exam centre to accommodate a minimum of 50 test takers. You can select only one city per exam session. For example, if you want to appear for SNAP exam only once, then you can select only one city. 

In top MBA exams such as NMAT, SNAP, CMAT and CAT, questions from previous years may not get directly repeated. MBA exams are known for its ever evolving question structure with changing economies. The exam authorities create new and innovative questions each year to assess candidates' problem-solving skills, logical reasoning, and aptitude.While questions may not get repeated exactly, it is possible to find similar concepts or patterns in different years. The focus of MBA entrance exams, such as NMAT, CAT, CMAT, or SNAP, is to test candidates' ability to think critically and apply their knowledge to solve unfamiliar problems. Therefore, practicing previous year's questions can be beneficial as it helps candidates familiarise with the exam format, identify common question types, and develop their problem-solving skills.The syllabus of MBA entrance exams typically remains the same with DILR, VARC, and QA sections. While some exams may have an additional section for General Awareness. Therefore, candidates must go through the previous year's questions to get aware of the,   type of questions, important topics, and more.

At the SNAP exam centre, a candidate will be allowed to carry only certain items. Since the exam is held under CCTV vigilance, candidates must not try to sneak in any document or item which is not authorized by the exam authorities or mentioned in the exam day instruction guide. The SNAP admit card carries all the important guidelines related to the exam day. It includes, instructions to follow during the entry and identification process. Some of the important guidelines to follow are listed below:Reach the SNAP exam centre as per the reporting time mentioned in the admit card.Follow the instructions of the test centre staff for identification process and show documents when askedCooperate with the test centre staff in identification, frisking and document verification process.After the identification process, go straight to your test lab and take your seatWait for the invigilator to announced start of the testDo not touch the computer screen until asked to.Do not leave your seat until the exam is over and the announcement is made for exit.Submit the rough sheet and one copy to the invigilator before leaving the test lab.

According to the exam guidelines issued by SNAP authorities, the candidates are required to carry colour print outs in A4 size of the admit card to the test centre. The candidates must carry two print outs of their SNAP admit card to the examination centre. They are also required to paste a passport size photo on the hard copies of the admit card. The photo should preferably be the same as uploaded with the SNAP application form. If not, then it should be recently clicked and not more than three months old. Candidates must read all the important guidelines mentioned on the SNAP admit card in order to not make a mistake regarding documents and identification process.
