Here is a list of exams in the increasing order of their difficulty:
ATMA (the easiest, gave once, many of the questions were wrong. Very poor standard of the exam. Score 98+%ile).
MAT (I personally felt that the May 2017 exam was a few notches easier than the September 2017 version of the same. Scored 99+%ile).
CMAT (did not give it till now, but from what I've heard, this is another speed test, so questions are easier. Tad above in difficulty level from MAT).
NMAT (another speed based exam, will appear in October this year. Although there are no negative marks, one must score 215+ out of 360 for a sure shot convert into the prestigious N

CAT is known for its toughness. There might be some little changes in the syllabus. If you want to write other exams after preparing for CAT you can do that. But you have to prepare some extra topics apart from your CAT syllabus to write your prescribed exam.

If you are from defense category, then you can get it at as low as 65 percentile. And, if you are from non-defense, target for 85+ percentile.

Hello! It simply depends upon which B-school you want to get admission into. Those aiming the IIMs must give CAT XLRI accepts only XAT IIFT score is accepted by both the IIFT campuses (New Delhi & Kolkata), and CMAT is accepted by JBIMS, Sydenham, GIM, etc. Preferably it is advised to give 2-3 exams since their difficulty level never remains same and one also has a backup in case he/she falters in one exam. https://www.shiksha.com/mba/articles/20-mba-entrance-exams-you-can-take-this-year-blogId-11473 Kindly visit the given link, it would provide you with more insights.
