Both are completely different courses and have different exams. SNAP is a national level exam and a different institute. You have to appear for it after completing your graduation.

SIBM Pune shortlists candidates based on the percentile scores of SNAP Test. The cut-off for MBA I&E in SNAP 2015 was 66.23 percentile. The candidate needs to have a minimum of 50% in graduation to be eligible for shortlisting. The profile of the candidate is evaluated only during the GE-PI-WAT process which takes place post the shortlisting.

SIOM is really good college if you are up for operations management because it's a niche college which trains the students to cop up with the challenges in the industry be it in any sector. It is really hard to predict the cut off but as 65-66 you have a very high chance of getting shortlisted. So hope for the best.

It is actually a blessing in disguise the new paper pattern as students found general awareness section particularly difficult to solve and it was majorly dependent on guesswork. But with increased number of questions in logical reasoning, the power lies in the students hand to perform exceedingly well in the examination. So actually, the new pattern would ensure lower guesswork in the paper and only the best of the students get through to the next round.
