To get into an NGO is more dependent on your inner passion rather than degrees or certificate. However, having some skills is quite beneficial for professional stability. You can best get at BSW or MSW courses. You can also opt for some certification from IGNOU or other distance learning organization related to NGO management, counseling, child care or any other sector which you wish to excel. The subject limitation is not there in social work so don't bother and Science background is crown for you to have critical thinking and analysis. You are fulfilling the criteria for admission for M.Phil social work. You just apply for the admission application, when the notification comes, and complete the process as directed which includes a qualifying entrance exam.

The candidate applying for the course must complete 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognised board. A few universities like Osmania University, the candidate must have secured at least 40% marks in aggregate.
