Yes. Madras School of Social Work offers the MSW M.Sc. And M.A. Courses at the PG level. The M.A. Course is offered in 4 specializations and the M.Sc. Course is offered in one specialisation. Applications to the MSW and M.A. Courses will be accepted from candidates who have completed graduation of minimum 3 years from any discipline. Applicants to the M.Sc. Course must have completed graduation of minimum 3 years duration, from the Psychology or Counseling Psychology streams. Admission to the Master of Social Work MSW M.Sc. Minimum Qualification Required: A Bachelor's degree in the relevant field/ stream.
Minimum Marks Required: 50% to 60%
M.S.W. Admission Process:
Admission to the MSW program is on the basis of candidate's performance in the entrance examination which at times is followed by a personal interview.
Some of the topics included in the entrance test are general awareness, analytical ability, language comprehension and awareness of socio-political issues.
