Hi,
Master of Arts in Sociology or MA Sociology is a2-yearpost graduate program in Sociology which focuses on an in-depth study of society and its mechanism.
The basic eligibility for admission to MA Sociology has been mentioned below.
Graduation degree in any stream.
Students with Arts and Humanities stream have an advantage.
Minimum pass percentage required varies from 45% to 50%.
Very important : Students from Science and Education streams should have 60% or above in their graduation degree for admission to MA Sociology course.

Hello, The aspirants who have completed Masters in Arts with subjects like sociology and other subjects are definitely eligible to become lecturers and researchers. Students with distance or regular degree from a recognised college or university can appear for the UGC NET Exam. The UGC NET Exam eligibility is that you must not be more than 30 years (35 years for women and reserved candidates). The UGC NET Exam is conducted in the month of July and now you can appear for the UGC NET Exam to be conducted in the month of December. UGC NET is a national level entrance exam, which is conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education. Through UGC NET candidates are selected for the Lectureship and for Junior Research Fellowship. GET more information for NET Exam from here - https://askhindi.com/question/what-is-ugc-net-exam/
