The School of Petroleum Technology (SPT) is one of the four schools of Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University and was started in 2007. The School offers B.Tech, M.Tech., & Ph.D programs to the students. The eligibility criteria for B Tech at the School of Petroleum Technology, Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University is:- For admission as an All India Seat candidate and/or as NRI Sponsored candidate: A candidate should have secured a rank in Paper – 1 of JEE (Main) and the candidate should have passed the Qualifying Examination with a minimum of 45% marks (40% in case of SC / ST) in aggregate in theory and practical of Physics & Maths (with Chemistry or Biology or Computer or Vocational Subject) from a single board.- For admission as NRI Candidate: Candidate must have passed the qualifying examination abroad with a minimum 45% mark

It depends on the course you want to pursue. Admission to the BTech programme is through a valid score in JEE Main.Take a look at the selection process for B Tech at the School of Petroleum Technology, Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University:- Government Seats (33%): For admission to Gujarat Seats, a candidate has to apply at ACPC (The Admission Committee for Professional Courses) as per ACPC norms. - All India Seats (52%): A candidate seeking admission on All India Seats shall apply online, on the University website, within the prescribed time limit. Honestly, it is hard to say if you can get into the School of Petroleum Technology, Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University with 70% in JEE Main because the score changes every single year though 70% is a decent score. It is hard to say because it depends on various factors such as category, preferred seat type (All India, Gujarat State Quota, NRI/NRI Sponsored), the number of applicants, difficulty level of the exam and many more.We hope this was helpful.Thank you
