MSc Software Engineering courses are designed for BSc students with good Maths background. Therefore after BCA you will not be eligible for the course in majority of universities. You are advised to pursue MCA.

Hi again, EPITA if you are looking for development domain. EPITA has more corporate tie-ups. If you are looking into RnD EFREI is the better option. Hope it helps.

Dear Abhishek,
EPITA holds highest repute for computer science studies globally. According to L'Usine Nouvelle EPITA ranked 22nd in the annual ranking of the best French engineering schools 2015. The school has been producing the best computer engineers hired by giants like Facebook and Google. Take a look on the career page on their website. I hope this answers your query. If you are thinking about a degree from EPITA I wouldn't take a second thought. All the best.

CSE or software engineering is one of the most sought after engineering branch. Computer engineers though are mostly involved in IT industries, they are gaining more demand in other industries like bank, airlines, public utilities, manufacturing sector etc., as these industry are becoming more technology oriented and computerized. Most of the colleges takes admission through JEE score and this cut off varies from institute to institute. Other than JEE other criteria is to crack individual or state level entrances. Some of the good entrance exams in which you can still apply are UPESEAT(For UPES & UTM), ATIT (IcfaiTech Admisison Test )

To become a Software engineer you are required to do BTech CS/ IT, BCA or BSc CS or Diploma in CS. You are required to complete +2 and seek admission in above mentioned graduation degrees. You can enroll in Diploma after 10th class. You can also learn software of you own and do various certification to become Software engineer. Unfortunately acceptance of this path in Indian IT industry is very poor. You may able to do individual software development assignment but may face challenges in getting a job.

B.Tech in CS, software engineering is useful only if you hv knack for it as you will need to innovate during your job. Creating softwares is idea of few, rest of the engineers simply work as per the instructions. If you hv the necessary skills and creativity, go ahead and make your mark.
