Diploma in software engineering is three years duration course, which can be done after 10th. So, why you want to waste your valuable three years. Further, there is no need to do any such Diploma courses before going for IITs/NITs because you will not get any benefits for this course in the admission. Hence it is better to strongly focus on JEE-Main-April and Advance syllabus for better options.

No, you cannot because you need the basics of science and computer subjects to pursue engineering.

There are no fixed best courses for software development (SD), technology keeps on changing with time, every day a new & better tool/Integrated development environment (I.D.E. )/language is replacing an existing best. So, if you are a college fresher or will going to be the one then all you can do is get a hold of programming basics at this point of time. Learn c/c+ in-depth and then move to college level Java. Hello Anil,
The Motto this days is skill, reskill and better skill. What this means is that everybody must keep on improving his/her skills throughout the lifetime. As the times change, different skills are required to be understood, assimilated and utilised. I am sure if you take up some software course definitely your employbility in the market will increase and you will get a better salary package. However a word of caution. Yes, you can do. After passing 10th, you are eligible for Diploma in computer science and engineering (three years regular course). Further, you can do the B.Tech-CSE after completion of this course through lateral entry admission in various reputed colleges.
