If you are from Science background then B.Tech in CSE or IT should be your top priority. Or if you are from Commerce/Arts background then BCA is the best option as compared to B.Sc. Because BCA is a technical course whereas B.Sc. Is a general course. Therefore, the chances of getting a placement job is relatively higher in BCA than B.Sc. All 3 courses stated above can provide you a way to be a Software Engineer. If you want to learn programming languages which you will be studying in your BCA course then you can check out this app which is specially designed and developed for BCA students. It has programs and assignments of languages l

If you are from Science Stream, then B.Tech CSE or IT will be better option for you. B.Tech should be your top priority if you want to work in the field of computers. And if you are from Commerce/Arts Stream then you can pursue BCA which will allow you to work in IT Sector. You'll learn 3-5 programming languages in this course, depending upon the university. Note that you'll not study designing and developing software, apps and games inside these courses. But you can study them on your own through internet. You can keep photography as a hobby.

Diploma after class 10th is not a bad option, but to be honest is turning out to be tough and competitive in all the long run of IT jobs and I have come across most of the incidents where people land up going for an option of lateral entry B.Tech after completing their diplomas to fetch job opportunities for themselves. But, it is not like chances do not exist with Diploma at all, there are some chances, but the better and best ones are with degree. Even while applying for the jobs at any online portal for a software developer most of the organizations mention eligibility criteria as degree holders like B.Tech CSE or B.Tech IT or BCA.
