Hello there, So, first thing is, you need to be extra smart and confident in your studies, take classes for JEE Exams from class 10th, then score good, take Science stream with Computer Science. Score good grades and get proper knowledge. Regards.

Well, both are different courses and their criteria for getting higher salary are also different. The salary package depends ob your knowledge, experience and skills you have. You can get good salary package from both of the branches. So you should opt as per your interest.

Do you belong from commerce stream? If yes, then, I am sorry. You can't go for software engineering. You need to opt for Science fields after your 10th. Thank you.

Great, things in software industry is changing drastically. You think about it, and it is already happening somewhere around the corner. I will say nobody can kill this industry, neither any technology can. But, a drift in the field can be easily seen. One need to keep themselves in race with this. For e.g, if a company is dealing in basic IT services, like website making (especially from scratch), SEO-SEM or even digital marketing, all will vanish soon in next 4-5 years.
