With you are subjects in 10+2 you are eligible to do any of the degree or diploma mentioned above to become a software engineer. You may work hard to do B.Tech CSE/IT from a prestigious engineering college.

For admission in Harvard University, the main thing is the required standardized test scores in either SAT or ACT. Normally, you are required to take two SAT subject tests.
That can be English and mathematics.
Strong English proficiency is also tested by Harvard University and for that, you need to take TOEFL exam.

Anxiety about packages at the time of placements is an activity, that every student has to undergo. But anxiety should spur you into doing better and not bogging you down.
Packages are strictly a function of demand & supply. Also, your academics. Employers surely will like to get best value for their money. Hence top packages are offered only to 1 or 2 students.
Presently, IT rules the roost & if you are in top five of your batch you can expect 6-10 L. Others would get about 3-5 L.

You can go for Bachelor's degree but not for Master's degree programme. A Diploma does not make you eligible to pursue Master's degree. Your Bachelor's degree in arts doesn't hold any value for computer studies.
