First be very clear whether you want to go for BCA or B.Tech as for B.Tech you need to have physics, chemistry and maths as compulsory subjects and even for BCA, some colleges demand maths as a compulsory subject.

Most software engineer positions require a Bachelor's degree. Mainly B.Tech is the good option to enhance your career. Majoring in software engineering will provide the most useful background for designing and perfecting software in the corporate world.
