Profile in E&I sector is Business Development, Financial analyst and auditing consultants. Coming from a core engineering field energy sector will give you plethora of opportunities. Also, it depends on company. If a company asks people from both E&I and General to sit, you can if it doesn't then you can't. This is the 4th year General management being offered at the college and average lies around 5 lacs p.a.

If your son is an engineer from core fields than he will have good oportunities with E& I and if he doesn't than general will be a good option for him.
The above analysis is based on the placement scenario observed so far. Moreover, the technicalities of E&I makes it a really nice one.

The average package offered at SPM is 7 lakhs for the current passing out batch.

School of Petroleum Management, is know for its niche specialization in energy & Infrastructure sector. Along with that, college is also offering general MBA from past 3 years. The average package of this year is 7 lakhs with highest being 13.5 lakhs offered by Gail.
If you are looking for an MBA is niche courses and you ar keen about the sector this is a good college to consider.

The MBA Finance students on average students get 6.5 lakhs for finamce specific average it is difficult to say. Minimum is can be 3.5 lakhs and maximun 6.5 lakhs as per last year's placements.
